I can see poetry in your spilled words. This essay inspires me for poetry watching. Thank you for always creating lovely artforms like this 🤍

“I’m enamored by this idea of poetry watching, yet mostly, I forget to keep up with it. I’ve got earbuds in. I’m consuming content on the way to the grocery store instead of consuming my life.”

wow. you, effectively, put it into words (poetry) 🩷

YES!! as a preschool teacher in brooklyn this is all too true haha i have a note in my phone of the insane (and profound) shit kids say on a daily basis--my students make me stop and pay attention to the tiny details and it's why i love being an educator <3

this fits in so much with something i've been thinking about for the last year. "how do we reenchant our lives?" not in a shallow or aesthetic-farming kind of way, but with the intent of truly being in our lives instead of letting them happen to us. the world is becoming more and more oriented to purposefully make us disenchanted with it. and i think that is because people who are able to find that sense of wonder themselves are hard to sell things too. that won't do for a capitalist driven society.

love this concept! thank you for sharing!!
